10 Minute Pork Chops (that ooze awesome)

10 minute dinner juicy bone in pork chops

Dry. Bland. Chewy. Flavorless. Stupid. Boresville. Ever use these words to describe poor ole pork chops?
I FEEL YA! They can kinda suck... if you under-season or over-cook them. These puppies (or piggies, rather...) are doused in herbs and crisped to a golden brown on each side to create a seal of sweet juicy pork. Tell me you can't go fo dat! They have like, 5 ingredients and take 10 freaking minutes to cook. Not like 10 mins (with 45 min prep), no no no. Literally. Ten. Mins.

Make this for your honey bee on V-day-- whether that's an actual person or a DVR-ed episode of Scandal commercial-free (I'm dreaming of both right now), that's up to you.

10 Minute Pork Chops

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Serves 2

  • 2 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary, minced
  • 1 tbs. dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut in half
  • salt + pepp
  • butter/olive oil
The Steps
  1. Heat your oven: Turn your oven to Broil. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and using a stick of butter, cooking spray or olive oil, cover the foil all over.

  2. Prep your chops: Take 1 half of garlic clove and rub all over the pork chops- 1/2 clove each side. Using a paring knife, make two little slits in the meat about 3 inches away from each other and plop in the garlic halves (1 per slit). Continue with second chop.

  3. Cover your pork chops with the rosemary, oregano, salt and pepper (the more seasoning the better). Flip and repeat on other side.

  4. Broil your chops: Place chops in oven about 4-5 inches from top broiler and set timer for 5 minutes. Take chops out, flip, and return to oven for 5 more minutes. Remove from oven completely and tent with aluminum foil.

  5. Top with pan sauce: Serve with any juices from pan & your favorite sides!
