As many of you may know, I'm an instructor at The PilatesBarre and TreadBarre here in Dallas and love every second of teaching for so many reasons. One of my absolute fave aspects of helping people of all ages get motivated is getting to introduce fun, upbeat and inspiring music into classes - everything from hip hop's latest and greatest to throwback pop hits to dance tunes you can't get out of your head. I don't know about you, but if I hear the right song when I'm about to collapse, it seems to help me last even just a little bit longer!
Of course there are different strokes for different folks, and maybe you're just waiting for that one key jam to get you through a sprint or your hardest lunge, which is why I do my very best to mix up the music within each and every class. My goal is to have you get lost in the music and get out of your head for 50 minutes, letting you crush your workout without ever paying attention to the clock. That's where my weekly playlists come in! So many of you (so kindly) ask about music in my classes and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
